David Loesch, M.D.
David Loesch, M.D., has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with honors from the Institute of Technology from the University of Minnesota, with his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis, MN. He did his internship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, and his residency at the University of Iowa-Des Moines Methodist Program in Des Moines, Iowa. His fellowship in medical oncology was at the MD Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute and the University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Loesch's current positions are as the breast cancer committee co-chairman for the Hoosier Oncology Group and physician director for clinical research for our local practice group and contributing member of the US Oncology Breast Cancer Committee. Dr. Loesch is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. His current memberships are in ASCO, American College of Physicians and Indiana Medical Oncology Society.
Joyce O'Shaughnessy, M.D.
Joyce O'Shaughnessy, M.D., received her medical degree from Yale University Medical School and completed her internship and residence in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her fellowship in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute. Presently, Dr. O'Shaughnessy is a breast cancer researcher and practitioner in Texas Oncology, PA. She is also associate director for clinical research, director of chemoprevention research and co-director of breast cancer research for US Oncology. Dr. O'Shaughnessy's research interest include the development of new chemoprevention strategies for women at high risk for the development of breast cancer and she is involved in several ongoing chemoprevention studies.
