Kit Creation
TBAC will work with you to understand your objectives and develop a biospecimen collection kit that meets your requirements. TBAC will provide the fully assembled kits that are ready for tissue collection and shipment to your collection sites.
Tracking and Reporting
A web-based bio-specimen tracking system integrated with a laboratory information management system (LIMS) tracks the transit of specimens from resection to data posting. This IT system is easily customized for specific projects and accessible by clients via a custom web-portal to track the logistics, the study progression, or access and consolidate the research results.
- The web-based bio-specimen and clinical data management system is a robust system built to be secure, flexible and scalable and for easy remote access and report generation by clients. The bio-specimen tracking module ensures the controlled and quality management of the bio-specimens utilizing intelligent bar-coding.
- The clinical data management system tracks a broad spectrum of bio-specimen-associated forms.
- The LIMS system enables tracking of standardized bio-specimen manipulation activities.
Computing Power
Computing power is critical to the success of data-rich systems such as integrated genomic analysis. Caris MPI has an alliance with IBM as their technology provider and a partnership with the Translation Genomics Research Center (TGen) for computational tools to accelerate discovery into human diseases.

TBAC offers secure storage of ambient specimens and frozen specimens at temperatures
of -20°C, -80°C, and liquid nitrogen.
